Well it has been just over a week since I have posted and we should call it "The Week of Hunger".
As a way to step it up 2000 notches Miriam set the challenge of going a whole week without carbs. Being the awesome friend/trainer she is she decided to do it with me. So Monday morning we started.
The week started out and to say I was Starving was an understatement. I would just eat and I would still be hungry. The worst time was after dinner. I went to bed at 7:30 a couple of times just so I wouldn't put anything in my mouth. Only to find that the hunger was 1000 times worse in the morning.
Tea became my best friend, I am guessing I would drink 5 cups of tea a day. Lucky it has been cold.
By the Thursday I would say my body has become used to not eating carbs and I was less hungry.
Friday was definately my lowest day. I was already feeling flat and I got upset at BOOTCAMP because as much as I wanted to give my all my body just wasn't responding. I have to say though I love Matt and the Mumscamp girls for helping me through it. Sharna's advice was worth a million dollars at that moment and I would like to say thank you.
Today I followed Sharna's advice before I went to the gym and I felt great at the Gym and I am feeling great now.
Today is supposed to be my last no carb day but I have decided to keep going until my weigh in on Thurday. I know I can do it, and it feels good to push myself!
